I've failed again So it all depends on you. When I die again My sin be buried at sea. Buried at, buried at sea. ... Buried at, no longer with me.

Lord you have promised, Eternal good for me, And no thorn in my side will, Be too much with thee. Lord your word does promise, A cross for me to bear, And a God who knows my weakness, Upon him cast my care. Sufficient for me, Your grace will be. Sufficient for me, Your grace will be. Take captive my heart, Speak your word, The story of amazing love, Of God who cares for me. Lord you are faithful, Your goodness like a stream, Ever flows to me. When pride grows high as cedar, Your grace is higher still, Your grace is higher still. Sufficient for me, Your grace will be, Sufficient for me, Your grace will be. Take captive my heart, Speak your word, The story of amazing love, Of God who cares for me.

When i’m overcome, When i’m filled with fear, When i’m buried deep in anxious thought, And no way out is clear, When i’m overwhelmed, Stumbling in the dark, When I feel alone and worry churns me up, tears me apart, I need you, I need you, I call for you as a son to his father, I think on you, the rock on which I stand, I run to you my shelter, My only firm foundation, And the one who loves me more than I know, My security, My hope for life, My joy and peace, my identity, Are all bound up in Christ, Forgive me LORD, For I am weak, In my faith and trust, in obedience, Your standard I can’t keep, So I need you, I need you, I call for you as a son to his father, I think on you, the rock on which I stand, I run to you my shelter, My only firm foundation, And the one who loves me more than I know, By your grace my future is secure, By your blood to death I cling no more, And you rose, my heart to be restored, Now you wait with saints who’ve gone before, And I will walk the streets of heaven by your side, I’ll see you, I’ll see you, I’ll need you, I’ll still need you, I call for you as a son to his father, I think on you, the rock on which I stand, I run to you my shelter, My only firm foundation, And the one who loves me more than I know

Job's Reply 04:10
In skies and seas, in storm and breeze, In mountain streams, and forrest trees, Light and dark and moon and stars, In conscience minds and beating human hearts, Im captured by your majesty, Enchanted by the things I see, And woven through this tapestry, I see the glory of my King, Who can understand this power?
Almighty God I tremble at your name, I lift my eyes and I can see you, Reflected glory in the things you made, I close my eyes but I can hear you, Your faintest whisper thunders through my bones, I plumb the depths but I can feel you, Your spirit fills me and my heart you know, You spread the sky in empty space, Hold the planets in their place, And at your voice the Heavens quake, You care for me in my disgrace, You hold me up when I am weak, You know my words before I speak, And though I rage and war and fight, I stand forgiven in your sight, You grew the tree that rescued me, The meaning of humility, You gave your son to set me free, And by his blood I am redeemed, Who can understand this power?
Almighty God I tremble at your name, I lift my eyes and I can see you, Reflected glory in the things you made, I close my eyes but I can hear you, Your faintest whisper thunders through my bones, I plumb the depths but I can feel you, Your spirit fills me and my heart you know,

I can talk to you and you understand, Cause you learned to walk and you learned to stand. You laughed and cried, you felt anger too, As you learned to talk and your body grew. I can cry to you and you know my pain, When i’m deeply hurt then you feel the same. You cared for those who would cause your end, Loved your enemies and you lost a friend. Oh the weight of love, Is overcoming me. I can fall on you and you wont dismiss, Cause you felt betrayal in a dear friend's kiss. You bore the marks of injustice too, A tormented mind with the cross in view. I can lean on you and you wont break down, Cause you suffered much but no sin was found. You felt the weight of the fathers will, But your love was such that you climbed that hill. Oh the weight of love, Is overcoming me. I can run to you cause at such great cost, You redeemed my soul at the cruel cross. I am not my own cause a price was paid, And the lifeless LORD in a tomb was laid. I can trust in you cause you proved your name, In your perfect life and the empty grave. You rose from death and you’ll take me through For when God see’s me then he’ll see you too. Oh the weight of love, Is overcoming me.

about

I write songs about my anxiety and struggling with my afflictions. I still feel them. Sometimes trials pass, their purpose in our lives fulfilled and so removed by God - we are thankful. Other times God knows it is necessary for those trials to continue, maybe for a little while longer, or maybe for a lifetime in order that they may bring about in us his purpose; salvation - and though it is difficult we are thankful.

While I am here I take comfort in my firm foundation, the unchanging one who loves me more than I know, and find sufficient grace is available for me in my struggles if I would only reach out in faith and take it.

But the biggest encouragement I know, the greatest sustaining thought is that I am already as good as home. Christ has won the war for my soul, and my future is sealed. So I look ahead, through the haze of finite eyes to a day when my perfection will be made complete, and I will experience complete fulfilment, true joy, and eternal life with God. And when I am in that paradise with him, I will think back to the anxieties I felt in my earthly life. I’ll think of the fear, of the pain, and of the insecurity, and I shall consider them an infinitesimal blip in comparison to the pure joy and peace I will feel forever.

Lord, send your spirit and give me strength to endure until that last day when the King of kings will call me ‘good and faithful servant’, and I will be home.
